Motorola E398 Review

Motorola E398

The new Motorola E398 transports its users into an alternate world of sound and vision. It can play MP3 songs. The sound quality of the E398 is excellent, with 3D stereo surround sound spkeadkers and CD quality sound. Of course, the phone also plays MP3 ringtones, so you can set your favourite sond to be your ringtone. You may also compose your own ringtones using Motorola's MotoMixer's software. The rhythm lights interact with your ringtones, also with Java games.

Apart from the music features, the phone is extremely well-featured. It has an integrated digital camera with 4x digital zoom and a camera light for taking pictures in low light. The E398 is capable of video playback, but not video recording. The screen quality is excellent, with 65k colors and a high resolution.

For the connectivity, it supports Bluetooth's wireless connectivity as well as both USB and serial cables to PC. The phone has 5MB built-in memory, which is not huge,  however,  your MP3 songs can be stored on the new format TransFlash memory cards. The battery life is 4.5 hours.
